Adirondack Spruce top, Red Maple flamed back, sides and neck, varnish sunburst finish with French polish, Ebony triple bound fingerboard, triple bound body & peghead, Ebony triple bound abbreviated pickguard, traditional style Ebony bridge, “James” tailpiece with “ Passernig” logo, Golden Age antiqued tuners with Ivoroid buttons and 1 1/8’’ bone nut. We have found no hand made mandolin with these features that can match this instrument and many costing thousands more can touch it. This instrument is full of life with dry open “woody” and “airy” overall sound. Responds in an instant with a lot of “pop and ping.” The best mandolin in this price range we have encountered. These never last long and all you have to do is play it and you will see why. Priced with Travelite semi-hard case.
