Collings D2HBaA Custom Brazilian New – Fresh from our vault, A grade Brazilian that is very reminiscent of some 40’s models with black streaks and figure with a very light orange tint. Both the back & sides are a medium color that is not dark with grain that is clearly visible and overall outstanding in appearance. The Adirondack top is super sweet with wide grain at the bouts and that golden “patina” is offset with the SM Fire pickguard, 1 23/32'' nut width, thru saddle and Adirondack braces round out the custom options. Very older "dry'' sound with thick & fat tone as well as expected full power and response. This is a graded Brazilian Collings guitar which they no longer do, and this is a opportunity to obtain a new one that is. You could place this in the category of a "rarer" Collings instrument. Beautiful in appearance, raw articulated sound that will please you from the first string engagement. Priced with deluxe hard case. Call or email for price.

Collings D2HA Custom Cocobolo Rosewood New - You may not have many more chances to obtain a Collings Cocobolo Rosewood instrument as this outstanding tone producing wood is increasingly difficult to acquire. We feel that Cocobolo is superior in tone and appearance than anything else other than BRW and this is another example of bold, warm, dry fat sound. The brick red quarter sawn Rosewood is gorgeous with black streaking and is reminiscent of the 30's BRW along with a silky smooth tight / medium grain Adirondack top, Adirondack braces, no tongue brace, vintage "now" neck & bridge, 2 5/16'' string spacing, 1 3/4'' nut width and thru saddle. Very powerful guitar with great response and every note is clear as a bell as the low end is a rich warm delivery and the midrange seriously pops. If you are interested in a loaded up Rosewood Collings, you may want to test drive this one as there will not be an abundance of these with this tone wood.
