Altman OM-2 Cocobolo Rosewood Orchestra Model (Deep Body)
New - Want a smaller body guitar with Dreadnought power and tone? It has been hard to find, that is up until now. Here is the answer to that dilemma. This instrument displays unprecedented power that many Dreadnoughts have a hard time matching and some don't. Big booming low end that is clear and deep, very strong midrange that "pops," and clear precise high end. There is no "muddy" or hampered delivery, just pure fat, dry tone with outstanding volume. Based on the 1933 legendary model and made by hand with Adirondack spruce top, Adirondack braces, no tongue brace, beautiful Cocobolo back & sides, traditional Ebony fingerboard & bridge, Herringbone body binding, 1 3/4'' bone nut width, 2 5/16'' string spacing, Mahogany neck, Waverly "Relic" Butterbean tuners, vintage style Tortoise grain pickguard, Ebony bridge pins with "Red Eye" inserts, deep body option & varnish finish. It is hard to describe just how amazing this instrument sounds and how so responsive it really is , but one stroke of the strings will finalize your decision about a smaller than Dread guitar as the Altman OM model are the most powerful OM guitars that we have ever encountered.
